Baby, It's Cold Outside

The temperatures here in the midwest have finally dropped, and none too early...just in time for the holidays! Today the hubby and I made our way into our local big box home store and picked out a green, prickly oversized houseplant...also known as the Christmas tree. Our newly adopted six foot Scotch Pine looks pretty cozy in the corner of the living room, all decked out in it's glitz, glam, and lights. I purchased new ornaments, lights, and...shiny stuff...last year and it was fun opening the boxes up again and remembering what exactly everything looked like. The rest of the house will get it's annual makeover tomorrow. For now I'm just trying to recover from number three of five family Thanksgiving get-togethers. What a weekend!

I finally started a blog on which I won't feel guilty talking about what I love most: crafting and textiles! And, of course, the latest happenings at my freshly founded (or should I say re-founded) business Lynn David Handbag Company.
